Accademia del Ricercare

The Accademia del Ricercare is an association of musicians dedicated to the performance of Early music, with the aim of spreading historical performance practice. In over 20 years it has performed more than 900 concerts with its various ensembles, each one dedicated to a specific repertoire, and has been invited to take part to some of the most renowned musical institutions and international festivals, always gathering the public and critics’ success. The Accademia del Ricercare has recently been invited by the local government of the Canary Isles to the production of a recording of music by Diego Duron, master of the chapel in Las Palmas Cathedral. Up to now the Accademia del Ricercare has realised 15 recordings edited by CPO, Stradivarius, Tactus and Brilliant Classics, meeting the approval of the finest European magazines dedicated to Early music. The important French magazine Diapason has assigned the highest score to the recording of Vivaldi’s Triosonatas. The Accademia del Ricercare regularly performs with some the most renowned European experts of late Renaissance and Baroque music, such as Jordi Savall, Kees Boeke and many others
